Scout Basecamp is a ready-to-connect set for one colony: a black Scout V2, a white Scout V1 and an orange Trailhead, with the Links and plugs to join them.
The black Scout V2 is the queen's home. It comes with the 16 mm test tube, the Tube Plug and the Scout Cover, so it stays dark. The white Scout V1 is the open porch, with its own lid and plugs but no tube or Cover. The Trailhead is the feeding hub, with its acrylic lid.
Both Scouts and the Trailhead use the same AA-01 port, and a Scout meets the Trailhead's low port with no Riser. Three Links come in the box, with two Port Plugs and a Vent Plug for the Trailhead's ports. Founder-height connections and a Riser are chosen separately.
